ECORYS Foundation has approved the project of ECORYS Turkey under ERP 2010
11 November 2009- ECORYS Turkey will carry out a research project entitled “Profiling Women Entrepreneurs in Turkey” with the aim to profile women entrepreneurs active in the formal sector in Turkey and to propose policy measures appropriate for different profiles of women entrepreneurs.
Research into profiling women entrepreneurship in Turkey has not been done of the scale and scope that this study would come with. Hence, this research will form a sound basis for the very first study profiling women entrepreneurs in Turkey. The comparative nature of the study will be ensured by adapting an approach applied already by the Eurochambers in 25 EU member states in 2004.
The research team is quite extended, comprising the staff of ECORYS Turkey, ECORYS International, academicians from METU and University of Stirling as well as women's councils of TESK (The Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen) and TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges in Turkey).
